Overall Job Description


The Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral member of Dear Our Community (DOC)'s Marketing Communications team, developing, executing, and maintaining the company's digital marketing campaigns reflecting our Marketing and Brand Strategy. The Digital Marketing Specialist will support social media campaign and ADs strategy, community management, content creation, and execution working closely with multiple teams across the company. 


This role is aimed to ensure adherence to the company mission and values of authentic youth engagement, community development, equitable practices that promote the understanding of sustainability, ESG, CSR, and social impact practices.


Major Responsibilities & Duties:

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist uses organic and paid digital and social advertising, social media community management, and creative storytelling to connect DOC with relevant target audiences improving brand awareness, recognition, loyalty, and drives traffic to our products/services. 


Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and influencers, management and support of Facebook groups, Google Ads, social media troubleshooting, content creation, and marketing events.


The ideal candidate for this role has demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for digital advertising and social media management reaching diverse audiences and is strategic, proactive, action-oriented, and driven to succeed.


Strategy & Execution (70%)

  • In consultation with the Content Planning Team, develop and post social media content plus creativity for all DOC channels including Facebook, Zalo, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media.


  • In collaboration with the Brand & Community Department, plan, manage and execute the digital marketing strategy, content strategy, editorial calendar, and communicate social media schedule to fully reach effectively the target audiences.


  • In coordination with the Business Development Department, plan and execute campaigns to drive participation, support, and engagement in DOC’s marketing, sales and advertising initiatives.


  • Manage and research Tiktok, Facebook Groups for business support, and implement Google and Facebook mechanisms on DOC's websites for use with digital and social media advertising.


  • Produce and edit graphics for social media posts and campaigns, as needed, especially customize content for key targeted audiences.


Analytics & Maintenance (30%)


  • Support the organization and management of DOC's Social Media Channels


  • Manage engagement and responses across all social media channels.


  • Demonstrate measurable results and data-driven mindset that are aligned with the company's strategic plan. 


  • Analyze the performance of social media content and digital advertising campaigns, research digital communications trends, and adjust as needed to grow following and engagement.


  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for social media platforms as needed.

 


Qualifications and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (Sale Marketing, Professional communication, Marketing Communication, Finance Marketing)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of job-related experience managing digital marketing and strategic social content creation.

  • Education/Agency/Services/Retails Industry experience a plus.

  • Proven track record of planning, executing, and measuring successful digital marketing and social media campaigns.

  • Good English language skills 

  • Ability to lead a team of 2-3 people (interns. executive) 

  • Ability to provide training on digital marketing to team members


Knowledge & Skills:

  • A creative thinker with a developed understanding of the need to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.


  • A strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media standards and best practices, as well as recent trends


  • An aptitude for content creation, and the ability to decide the needs of various channels and to coordinate and execute the best possible formats for each


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell stories that bring DOC's mission and brand voice to life


  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and how individuals of all ages are best engaging with content across those brands


  • Effective verbal communications skills in both one-on-one and group settings


  • Creative, collaborative, and highly organized in your approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.


  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to effectively manage several projects at once, prioritize responsibilities, and work in high-pressure situations


  • Strong attention to detail


  • Intermediate photography & video skills (is a plus)


  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly to bring creativity and break tradition
